Pecan Egg Tarts​

Pecan Egg Tarts​

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecan pieces​
  • 2 sheets puff pastry​
  • 3 eggs​
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract​
  • ½ cup milk​
  • ¼ cup maple syrup​

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Use puff pastry as the base for your tart
  3. Layer the bottom of your tart with pecan pieces
  4. Beat the eggs, vanilla extract, milk and maple syrup for your custard. Strain through a sieve.
  5. Grate pecan halves into your custard for extra flavor
  6. Pour custard into your tarts
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick can stand in your tart
  8. Top with pecans and enjoy!
